This offering is completed on a "Project Base", meaning we establish what is the pain point and come to an agreement on pay and time for us to deliver. It can relate to the above or something else completely. Please don't be afraid to ask if this is something that we do.

Fee Breakdown

We want to make sure this is as transparent as possible. If we could do this at no cost, we would. Unfortunately that is now how the world works. This is why we have decided to have a limit or a cap on how much our annual services would cost you. This is $20,000 for individuals or families. It includes projects based plans as well. In the future this could move depending on inflation. If we ever do decide to move this number it will be out of necessity rather than for our benefit.

Blended Tier Fee Structure

What this means is the first $500,000 will be paid at 1.00%, then the next  $500,000 will be at 0.90% and anything more will be assessed at 0.80% until you reach $20,000 for an annual fee. This fee is paid monthly in arrears.

Example: If I were to manage a clients portfolio at $1,500,000 then my fee would be:

$500,000 x 0.01 = $5,000

$500,000 x 0.009=  $4,500

$500,000 x 0.008 =  $4,000

​

Total Annual Fee = $13,500 at an average of 0.90%(bps)

Total Monthly Fee = $13,500/12 = $1,125

​

Threshold for no further fees is approximately $2,300,000+

Project-Based Financial Planning Fee Structure

This offering caters more the individual or family that does not want to delegate the management or for those who need specific help at a reasonable cost. The cost will vary depending on complexity or number of projects, we will help assess what that looks like in our first conversation.

Example #1: A prospective client needs assistance with college planning for their young child. After our first conversation it's identified that their needs are relatively simple. I would advise them to go the "Hourly Fee" route as it would be much cheaper than the "Fixed Fee" route.

Example #2: A prospective client needs assistance with their cash flow and budget needs for retirement. After our first conversation it's identified that this is going to be complex and involve more of my time. I would advise them to go with the "Fixed Fee" route for a better price. 

Upfront Fee

We do charge an upfront fee of $0 - $500 for either the Managed Assets or Project-Based Financial planning.
